Tell me more about this coffee...
The coffee that gets you up when your alarm can’t.
Some days you just want to say no. But your alarm clock says yes. Maybe your parents also say yes. Despite this,
Wake Cup is a blend of beans from Central America and Italy. The dark Italian roast gives you a unique and delicious STRONG cup of coffee – the kind of unique you need to get you up in the morning.
Origin

With the addition of Italian beans, you can expect a thick-bodied (like whole milk), strong flavoured drink.

The Guatemalan addition to this blend gives it its complex taste and hint of smoke.

Positivity
But let’s be positive now, this coffee doesn’t offer any medicinal benefits other than a delightful experience on the pallet. It will, however, be the perfect coffee to wake up to – if waking up often feels like the hardest thing to do.

Roast Type
The roast level determines the taste. Light roasts retain more caffeine and original flavour characteristics. Medium roasts have a better-balanced flavour. Dark roasts often have a bitter, smoky flavour, heavy body, with less caffeine retention.

Acidity
Acidity – often known as “brightness” describes the additional flavours of the coffee. Less bright coffees just taste like coffee. Coffees with high brightness have other flavours that ‘pop’. If you want exciting flavours – pick a coffee with high acidity.
